Head on over to the Bluegingerdoll blog to read about my pattern tweaks. I even went outside and took pictures in the cold cause coordinating shoe shots are a must. ;)

  2. I was waiting to see how this turned out - it's gorgeous on you! I like how you changed up the neckline and you have the perfect belt for this. This reminds me of the summer dress parade - oh how I wish it was summer...

  25. Hello! I did the shirring change but ended up with aLOT of extra fabric that bunches just below the shirring. I took 5/8 off the back to make up for not having a seam (should have been another 5/8) but even with my slight mess-up I don't understand why it bunches so badly. Any ideas?

I've bought hem weights to pull the bunching down a bit...

    Thanks in advance!

  26. I'm afraid there isn't much I can do for you to change your current dress. The nature of the shirring is to gather up the fabric, so there will always be a extra fabric below the area. If you wanted to change future versions you could further reduce the amount of ease in the back of the dress. Or use a lighter weight fabric will make the gathering of the shirring less noticeable.
